Software development for barter

Will code for anything.*

Custom software doesn't always have to be bought with cash. We build professional websites, apps, and automation — and we'll trade the work for equipment, collectibles, services, business assets, or whatever interesting thing you've got. Every deal is negotiated, one offer at a time.

*Almost anything. Make us an offer.

How it works

Five steps between you and a handshake.

  1. Tell us about your project

A website, an app, an integration, a wild idea — describe what you need built and roughly when you need it.

  2. Tell us what you have to trade

Equipment, services, collectibles, assets, cash plus trade — anything with real value is on the table.

  3. We review it

We look at the scope of the work and the value of the offer. No fees, no obligation, no hard feelings.

  4. We work out a fair agreement

If we're interested, we negotiate terms in writing — scope, timeline, and exactly what changes hands.

  5. Development begins

You get professional software built to spec. We get your arcade cabinet. Everybody wins.

Why trade

Cash is one way to pay for software. It's not the only way.

  • Preserve cash flow. Get the software you need without draining the account you run the business from.
  • Turn unused assets into software. That equipment in storage is worth more as a working web app.
  • Flexible negotiations. All trade, part cash, trade plus services — the structure fits the deal, not the other way around.
  • Win-win agreements. A deal only happens when both sides come out ahead. That's the whole point.
  • Creative solutions. Some of the best deals start with "this might sound strange, but…"

Got a business idea but no tech partner? For the right concept, we'll trade development work and technical leadership for a piece of the action.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Do you only accept trades?

No — trades are the specialty, not the rule. Straight cash, all trade, or any mix of the two works. The trade angle just means we never have to turn away a good project over a budget.

Can I pay partially in cash?

Absolutely. Cash-plus-trade is one of the most common structures — for example, covering part of a project in cash and the rest with equipment or services.

What projects do you accept?

Websites, web and mobile apps, APIs, automation, databases, DevOps, game development, custom business software, and more. If it's software, it's probably in scope — describe it and we'll tell you quickly.

How is value determined?

We estimate the development work the same way any professional shop would, and we value your offer at fair market value — recent sale prices, appraisals, or documentation where it applies. Then we negotiate until it feels fair to both sides, in writing.

Can businesses trade services?

Yes. Advertising, marketing, professional services, shop time, freight — service-for-service deals are welcome, and often the cleanest trades of all.

Are all offers accepted?

No, and that's the honest answer. Every offer gets read and gets a reply, but a deal only happens when the project and the trade both make sense. There's never a fee for asking.

Every offer gets read by a human and gets an answer. The stranger the trade, the faster we open the email.
